Dr. Lara Rasmussen – Surgeon & Owner, Direct Veterinary Surgery, LLC

Dr. Rasmussen is a board-certified veterinary surgeon and the owner of Direct Veterinary Surgery, LLC in Lakeland, MN. With over 25 years of experience, he holds a DVM from UC Davis, a Master’s in Veterinary Surgery from the University of Minnesota, and has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 1999. Dr. Rasmussen has worked in both clinical and academic roles, including as a professor at Western University of Health Sciences. She is licensed in multiple states and committed to providing expert surgical care to animals.

Onward Veterinary Surgery Dr. Jennifer Ree DVM DACVS

Dr. Jennifer Ree is a Bay Area native and graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She completed a rotating small animal internship at the University of Missouri and a specialty surgical internship at VCA Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, NY. Dr. Ree completed her surgical residency at Oregon State University in 2016 and moved back to California and worked in the North Bay for 4 years. She became board certified with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in small animal surgery in 2020. Since then, she has been back in the Bay Area providing surgical services to clients across the Bay.
