Marin City Animal Hospital was created in 2024 to provide Marin County and the surrounding areas with high-quality medicine and compassionate care. Our mission is to make a safe space for all families and their furry companions.

Dr. Diego Recinos
Dr. Diego Recinos graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and was able to finish his clinical rotations at Louisiana State University. His primary focus is in general medicine, but he has a strong interest in internal medicine cases and soft tissue surgery. On his time off, you can find him going hiking, running, and enjoying the great California weather.

Working with animals is my passion. My favorite role is helping pet parents connect with their furry loved ones through wellness visits. This is a great way to ensure long-lasting health.

Tamia H.- Customer Service Representative Lead
Tamia comes to MCAH with 5 years in the veterinary field; starting as a receptionist and working her way up to surgery nurse. She takes pride in her level of patient care and leads every interaction with empathy to ensure trust is established. In her off time she enjoys reading and wrting poetry.

Beatriz D. - Customer Service Representative
An animal lover at heart and with a deep passion for nature and the environment, Beatriz combines a solid background as an experienced Educator with 6 years in the medical field working in healthcare. Outside of work she practices piano, arts and crafts, yoga, and helping others skills.

My passion for animals started very young growing up in West Sonoma County. I completed my veterinary technician schooling at SRJC and with 20 years now in the field I know I made the correct occupational choice! Everyday I am blessed to comfort and care for our four-legged companions and the people that love them.

I’ve been in the vetfield for 4 years now, I always loved working with animals! I plan to become an RVT. I love working out and taking my cat on walks.

Brian is a dedicated Kennal Assistant with a passion for helping dogs feel their absolute best. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and going on hikes. His love for caring for dogs drives his commitment to ensuraing they are happy and healthy.

I lived in Marin since 2nd grade and always loved taking care of animals whether they were my own or volunteering. I’m excited to be working at Marin City Animal Hospital. Outside of college and work. I enjoying playing chess and seeing friends.

I’ve always loved being around animals and taking care of them, and I’ve always wanted to be in the medical field. I love poetry, music, and baking. When I’m in college, I want to study Radiology.

Cristian is from Cuba. Ever since he was little he knew that animals was his passion which led him to studying veterinarian medicine to fullfill his great dream “to watch over and care for” such beautiful beings forever.
